COLLEGE BOUND?
Is your son or daughter interested in attending a college, university or trade school? Do you know how to begin the search? The ultimate opportunity awaits parents and students in the Career Center.
How long will it take a student to form a list of colleges that offer a major in engineering, have a wrestling program and are located in Arizona? Answer: About 2 minutes if they use the college search software in the Vacaville High Career Center. This sure beats hunting through hundreds of college catalogs! Our new software will do two and four year college searches by majors, states or regions, religious affiliations, sports programs, cost and admission selectivity.
Students are encouraged to stop by the Career Center (room 4) before school, at lunch, after school or by appointment to use our resources. We also loan out our college catalogs and SAT preparation books.
If you are planning to take the SAT’s this year, we suggest you check out “The Official SAT Study Guide” (produced by the same company that offers the SAT’s) from the Career Center and do a little test preparation. We have lots of copies available for checkout.
