The Bulldog Citizenship Plan is intended to improve student academic success by encouraging good behavior and attendance. It is essentially a merit/demerit system. A student who engages in negative conduct or demonstrates poor attendance receives demerits. After being assessed thirty demerits, the student is no longer eligible to participate in Bulldog Citizenship Activities. The activities to which the Bulldog Citizenship Plan applies are noted:

Demerits assessed as follows:
IHS/IHD = 1
Referrals = 1
Suspension = 3
Tardy letter = 10
Truancy letter = 10

Merits are awarded as follows:
BIONIC Award = 5
Black and Orange Award = 5
Campus Service = variable
Perfect Attendance = 5
Senior of the Week = 5
STAR Test Effort = 5
Student of the Week = 5
Saturday School = 5 (voluntary)
